Career Readiness Assessment
The South Carolina Career Readiness Assessment is a career readiness test administered to all eleventh-grade students to measure the most common skills that employers define as foundational for career readiness. Students are assessed in four key areas: Soft Skills, Math, Reading, and Data. The dashboard shows the number and percentage of students who earn the Ready to Work (R2W) certificates/Employability Credential and their distribution by type of certificate/Achievement Level. Between 2018 and 2023, Beaufort County school District has had the highest percentage of students earning R2W certificates/Employability Credential but saw a decline in the certificate earnings.
