Historic Places

There are many cultural heritage and historic places in the Lowcountry region. Below is a list of the national register of historic places located throughout the region, a total of 114 properties as of January 15, 2024. There are 78 properties in Beaufort County, 11 in Colleton County, 15 in Hampton County, and 10 in Jasper County.
