Understanding poverty by racial groups can reveal problems that are hidden when looking at the overall population. This dashboard allows you to drill down data to a specific county, race, gender, and age. 


Data Notes
Definition Poverty Rates:  The percentage of people (or families) who are in poverty. Annual poverty rates are calculated using the sum of family income over the year divided by the sum of poverty thresholds that can change from month to month if one's family composition changes.
